About Cindy

I’m a firm believer that spiritual journeys rooted in inner transformation lead to more meaning, purpose, and peace in life. This belief is rooted in my own personal experience.

After years of struggling with anxiety and depression, I hit rock bottom. I couldn’t eat, rarely slept, and ignored my body so much that it eventually shut down leaving me unable to engage in life. I knew there had to be more to life and I did the one thing I thought I’d never do, I asked for help.

As I slowly climbed out of the hole I found myself in, I began to see that I’d been yearning for connection to the Divine. The more I followed the Spirit within me, the more whole I felt. In doing the deep inner exploration that I’d always avoided, I learned something that took me completely by surprise.

I was not living as my true self! Over time, I discovered that I was asexual, aromantic, and gender expansive, all of which I held with deep shame. I finally understood why I had never felt comfortable in my body.

I was committed to working through the shame that controlled and limited me and as I did, I realized the many divine gifts held in my sexuality and gender expression. Once I embodied these gifts, I knew I wanted to share my experience in service of others.

I became an advocate for these communities, presenting at national conferences and to the LGBTQIA+ Leadership Series for Fortune 500 companies. I also led peer support groups for the transgender and gender expansive communities and was on the leadership team for my company’s PRIDE employee resource group.

One of the ways I share the fruits of my own spiritual journey is through spiritual direction and guiding others through their personal transformation so they can realize their own sacred divinity. I believe we all possess the power to live a deep, rich life rooted in spiritual exploration and it is my honor to accompany people across the entire spectrum of gender and sexuality on their spiritual journeys.

When I’m not walking with others on their spiritual paths, you can find me out in nature hiking, biking, kayaking, or walking with my dog. I’m also a writer, avid traveler, and creator of  silly songs that I sing to my dog and daughter, much to their chagrin!
